Christains and their Mode of Nutrition

I love the topic "NUTRITION" so much. It's an eye opener as to how we feed, even as Christians. The Saprophytic, parasitic, autotrophic, etc.., I find their mode of feeding so symbolic.

Let's get to meet our guests for today 🤭.

A Saprophytic organism is an organism that can't produce it's food but would rather settle for dead and decaying substance! Quite pathetic!

The parasitic would rather be a pest, and choose to deprive the other of the nutrients gained, to the detriment of their host's health. They're the selfish and lazy ones.

The Autotrophs produce not just their own food, but even the food others would feed on, the saprophytic inclusive.

I'd start with the Autotrophs. I sat still one day and ruminated on the uniqueness of the Autotroph and I realised how alike we are.

★ The Autotroph is a PRODUCER.

★A GREEN PLANT is an example of an Autotroph

★A green plant, as an Autotroph makes use of the SUNLIGHT to produce it's meal!

As Christians, we've been built to not just produce food for ourselves but for others too. It'd be selfish of us, to only get fed and not care about the rest.

I love the idea that the green plant, can't produce it's meal without the sunlight.

I so much love the fact that only GREEN plants make use of SUNLIGHT to PRODUCE food, for not just themselves, but EVERYONE!

The world at large benefits from the synthesising of food the green plant undergoes regularly.

My point? We've been synchronized spiritually to be Autotrophs. We've been made as green plants, to daily make use of the SUNLIGHT to reproduce for all.

A green plant is a matured one. A vigorous and fresh one.

We've been called to feed the nation. We've been called to daily interface with the light, the life of all men, His word.

We've been called to daily behold his face, that we become transformed into his image to not just gain energy from Him to synthesis food but to be like Him.

The question is, are we ready for that rigorous work of continually dwelling and beholding His light?
