The world and the WORD

In our world today, every parent and even the society tend to define a child even while they are still in their mother's womb, They already make plans for the child even before she could say bah and therefore leaving alot of us with so much pressure because we don't want to leave below their expections. Most especially in our Africa culture where the whole community are your family because we grow up with the saying that "Its not only the parents of the child that owns the child"(I don't really know if that's the correct way to say it but as an African child, you should get).

  The pressure is just so much, when going to school, you will get advice from mum and all her friends and they will leave you with "we are expecting a first class from you". When you make any mistake, alot of people will know about it and quarrel you and the part that is most interesting is when you decide to leave school saying God has called you, oh my God... You have entered the community black list. I am not saying it is good or bad, I am just pointing out how much you are not alone in this world of yours. So many eyes are on you but what happens if you are not living according to the expectations of men or your parent. What happens if you are not following the design the world had made for you.Of a truth it is not easy to live against the design of the world. The world is actually design to favor its own and now you want to live for Christ, now instead of studying medicine as planned by your parent, God is saying feed my flock. 

What will you do at this point? 

  There is a way the world make you feel when you are not living by its standard, the world has set an age for you to leave your parent, get a house, buy a car, finish your school e.t.c and if you don't know all God had said and is still saying about you, you will never be happy. Most times the world make us look so inferior that you won't be comfortable sitting with your peers but I want you to know that you have the power to let  people make you feel less of yourself and you shouldn't give it to anyone. 

You have the power to make people think highly of you, I have seen people that by my own standard of passing an examination, they failed but they will boost about their score so much that I just have to celebrate them,they only gave me the permission to be happy for them.  This is not about being a mediocre, it is about learning how to celebrate yourself

    

   There is so much God has spoken about you, from the first book till the last book of the bible, the Lord has written so much about you and there was nothing he said that wasn't good. 

The world may say you are ugly but after you were created, God said" You are good" and that is all that should matter to you. The world may think that until you become a Doctor, lawyer, professor and so on, you are not on the list of successful men but God had already called you a success. 

Whose report are you suppose to believe, I once told us that God has the numbers of your hairs, he knows when no. 4 drops, is he not to be trusted more than the man that didn't know how you were  formed. The  God that knows you even before you were formed in your mothers womb is saying you are wonderfully made, why then are you believing somebody that only knows your name. 

Whose report do you choose to believe today, the report of the Lord or the report of man? 

The truth is that you will continue to live according to what you believe, you might have done what the people are saying, you might have done so much mistakes and the world has labeled you but you are not what they say you are. 

All you need to do is find who you are in the word of God and live according to what He says by the help of the Holy ghost

See, the Holy ghost have a way of turning your mistakes into a testimony. You are not what the world say you are, you are who God say you are and until you believe what he has said concerning you, you can never live according to his words. 

People should not define you, never give them the right to do. 

You are the head, 

You are wonderfully made

You are beautiful as your heavenly father is

You are priceless 

When you know how much God has place in you, you won't try to be someone else, you won't be under any pressure because you know that God's words never go back to him void.
