Understanding Times

     I understand but just take a chill pill!

I really do understand,I know what it feels like when you see a bigger picture of your future and it is looking like you can never get there,I know what it feels like to wake up everyday not looking better than yesterday.

I understand that feeling you get when you see your mate living their dreams and you are just following their dreams like you don't have yours.

I really understand what it feels like to see your mates pray for hours and you are still struggling with 15 minutes,it may not really seem like a big deal when you were at a certain age or when you started walking with God but at this point in your life,it is no longer about intimacy with God,it is about your growth,pride and achievement.

  Okay, you may want to disagree with that but if only you can search your heart deeply you will understand what I am talking about.

   Yea,I was a victim of "I am not doing enough"

I look at my mates and felt I haven't done anything at all with my life.

I felt like I have wasted 20 years of my life,I mean some of my friends are already doing exploits in the kingdom of God and making names in the world coupled with the fact that some of them are graduates and already making cool cash.

I know we have few of my age mates in Nigeria that are already living their dreams but hey,if I am a part of the few,am I going to be jailed? I mean they don't have two heads

     I know you are thinking all of that too, you are thinking,mehn time is not on my side,I need to do so much and I am getting older daily,my days here on earth are getting shorter by the day, so you want to do anything possible to feel among and fulfilled.

   Now you see why I said you should take that chill pill,come over here and let's reason together.

It's the 26th day of January and the tension is on the high but just see what I have got to tell you

    I strongly believe that God has created us uniquely with different gifts,talents and strength,I also believe that He placed us at different geographical location for the fulfilment of that purposes

     I think one of the most difficult thing to grapple with as Christains is the concept of God's timing. His timing is different from ours,so the need to understand His timing is very important.

God operetes in the realm of eternity and eternity has no constraints.

 

     If this is resonating with you at all, I want to remind you that God loves you and He has a plan for your life. Don’t grow weary because things are not going fast enough for you or exactly how you planned. Instead press into God. Lean not on your own understanding, but rather ask the Holy Spirit to give you wisdom, guidance and direction. Remember what Jeremiah the prophet said,

I know the purposes and plans I have for you says the Lord, plans of a future and a hope. ~Jeremiah 29:11

    At this point in your life,you must also step back and gain an objective view of what God is doing in your life.

Every now and then we need to assess our lives spiritually,when you do that you gain more clarity,peace of mind and insight

You must ask your self this questions

                  *What is God doing in my life?

                  *Where is He working greatest?

                  *What is He teaching me?

                  *Where do I need to grow?

Perhaps God desires to deepen your faith. Maybe He wants to reveal something to you during this season about areas of needed growth. Perhaps He wants to give you a new vision. 

Have you quieted your mind and spirit long enough to sense His direction or calling? During this season ask God to reveal Himself strong. Continue earnestly in prayer asking Him to show you what He wants you to know. 

   God wants us to learn to completely trust in Him. When we get to a place where we are completely dependant to Him,He begins to work miracles in our lives. God wants us to know that in our uncertainty,He is our peace,In our weakness,He is our strength,in our sinking sand,He becomes our solid ground.

    Dearly beloved,don't give up too soon,God loves you so much.He can't deposit dreams and calling in you not to bring them into fruition.

Be patient,ask important questions and trust God for His goodness,He loves you even more than you love yourself
