The only thing that is a "Must"

      Obviously,she is very hard-working. She is always everywhere,trying to make everything right. She is her mother's favorite daughter.

She wakes up early in the morning to clean the house and I bet you,she is so good at this,that you could see yourself in the tiles as soon as you walk into the room. Everybody likes and appreciate her. The mothers with lazy kids always compare their kids with her " Can't you see Martha,she is a gift to her parents,she is always in control of the house and she is going to be a good wife.

     Okay,that up there is just my imagination of how Martha was. She was the good lady,she loved her family dearly,you could see how sad and angry she was,when Jesus came late and you can never ignore the fact that she was a very hard working lady,the type we call "Wife material,100 yards" and Mary is the clingy one, probably her "Father's daughter" I am one too,so I know how lazy we can be but this lady is special because she learnt something, just maybe she learnt this act from her Dad. 

                    " The act of sitting"

       Sitting at the feet of Christ, listening to His word and learning of Him is the only that's needful for every child of God.

Nothing else is a must.

Like Martha,alot of us want to be seen,doing so many things,we want to serve,we want to feed the hungry,we want to be the kingdom financier,the lady that sings and everybody start weeping,the guy with so much grace and anointing,we just want to be doing something. 

Who wants to be the guy that didn't use his talent even though,sometimes,we do what we do not because we want to die empty but because we don't want to be the only one not doing something. Should I say,I know how it feels like to just sit and watch people do so many stuff and you are just there,sitting and watching,always. 

Yea,I know,you may act like you don't care,but the truth is that,somewhere in your heart,you want to be the one with the mic and with the stage light on your face and the one making the crowd scream with so much excitement but wait,there is something more important to do and that is sitting

      

       Mary sat! She didn't get tired of sitting. She wasn't trying to please the Master,if her intention was to please the Master,she would have gotten up and go help her sister in the kitchen. That's how human thinks right?

If I want to please him,I should wash his clothes,cook for him,buy him gifts and do whatever he says I should do but Mary sat! She sat,because she understands the importance of listening,she knows that beyond the running around and trying to please this important guest,she needs to sit and learn to please Him,so that,she won't have to keep trying to please Him She seriously wants to get it right.

    I know the year is about to end again and you really tried to make things work,you tried,so I give it up to you and you are you are ready to hit the road again,with your so many plans.  "No,I can't be the only one,looking like a failure,I need to try again" 

Well,I am here to tell you to take a chill pill again. Have you tried listening to God?

"The pressure is high,woooooooo, everybody is moving and it seems like I am the only one on the same spot"

I will still tell you to sit and talk to God,hey,don't forget to listen to Him too. You can't keep trying all your life, it's another opportunity to get it right and you must do it right by allowing Him teach you how to be whatever He has ordained you to be and to live the best life on earth. He made you remember,so He knows best
